Banijay Germany Bolsters Scripted with Investment in Dynamic Ally Pictures

Media and entertainment powerhouse, Banijay, today announces further scripted expansion with a new Banijay Germany joint venture – Dynamic Ally Pictures. Founded and led by Helgoland 513 executiveproducers Veronica Priefer and Johannes Kunkel, the Berlin-based company brings a fresh perspective to the entertainment landscape.

Dedicated to ambitiously developing, packaging, and distributing scripted content for the German and international market, Dynamic Ally Pictures’ Priefer and Kunkel have built a reputation on high impact, returning drama. First collaborating in 2017, the pair exclusively developed and produced multiple projects for UFA Fiction, including two seasons of the historical RTL+ series, The King of Palma, which they createdWorking across both the linear and streamer landscape, Kunkel produced Netflix comedy, Betonrausch, which made it to number one in the German Netflix charts. The duo serve as executive producers of the critically-acclaimed dystopian series, Helgoland 513, which premiered on Sky Deutschland this year.
