Sundance Now Acquires Series Three of The Restaurant as Banijay Announces Further Pre-Sales of Hit Drama

Banijay Rights, the leading distribution arm of Banijay Group, has today confirmed the acquisition of season three of its hit drama series The Restaurant, by Sundance Now in the US.   Banijay Rights also announced pre-sales of the third series of The Restaurant to Sat.1 Emotions, Germany, Filmin, Spain and ERR, Estonia. TV2 today confirms Mastiff Norway, a Banijay Group company, is set to take over production on its leading breakfast show, God Morgen Norge (Good Morning Norway) following a competitive pitch.   Airing daily Monday to Friday, the show combines features, celebrity chat, music, news and weather, and has enjoyed a successful run on TV2 since 1994. Banijay Germany, part of Banijay Group, today confirms the full acquisition of production entity, Good Times. The deal sees the independent label join the Germany group, sitting alongside Banijay Productions and Brainpool. Company founder, Sylvia Fahrenkrog-Petersen, will remain at the helm of the business as Managing Director and producer, overseeing its slate and all operations. Rai Uno Returns to  Il Paradiso  delle  Signore

Aurora TV, a Banijay Group company, confirms that Il Paradiso delle Signore (Ladies’ Paradise) will return to Rai Uno for a further 320 episodes across two series.
