    Banijay Kids & Family, a global leader in children’s entertainment, behind hit shows  Totally Spies! and Mr Bean: The Animated Series, today announces its latest multi-title distribution deals secured by its dedicated commercial and sales division, Banijay Kids & Family Distribution.

    Sales secured span some of the company’s new titles including Chimera Keepers: Adventures with Incredible Creatures season 1 (Mediacorp Pte. Ltd.); MiniHeroes of the Forest season 1 (Yle and Mediacorp Pte. Ltd.); Shasha & Milo seasons 1 (MBC Group); and The Game Catchers season 2 (BBC). A raft of deals have also been signed for the hit spy-fi franchise Totally Spies! including seasons 1-6 (DeA Kids and Gulli/M6+); seasons 5 and 6 (Tiji); and season 7 (Mediacorp Pte. Ltd. and Radio Canada).

    Tiger Aspect Kids & Family (part of Banijay Kids & Family), today marks 15 years since the launch of its animated series Tinga Tinga Tales on CBeebies and Disney Jnr. Plus, it unveils construction is approved for its 100th classroom, as part of its ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of children in Kenya through education.

    Created by Claudia Lloyd and inspired by Tanzanian Tingatinga art and traditional African animal folktales, the 52 x 11’ episodes were produced in Nairobi, in conjunction with Homeboyz Entertainment and continue to be distributed through NBCUniversal DreamWorks.

    Tiger Aspect Kids & Family donates 50% of its Tinga Tinga Tales net profits to building classrooms and helps improve access to education in some of the most impoverished and remote parts of Kenya. Many of the 100 classrooms incorporate sustainable features like greenhouses, water harvesting schemes and ablution blocks, funded by partners Safaricom and Coca-Cola. In addition, over 40,000 Tinga Tinga Talesbooks, and more than 350 Early Childhood Development training kits have been offered to teachers from the ‘Read a Book, Give a Book’ scheme.

    Banijay Kids & Family, a global leader in children’s entertainment, behind hit shows including Mr Bean: The Animated Series, today announces a partnership with iconic Parisian café, Rookies, for an immersive Totally Spies! experience.

    Season 7 of Totally Spies!, which premiered last year, marked the much-anticipated return of the show, following an 11-year hiatus. The series saw The Spies relocate to Singapore and frequently indulge in one of the country’s favourite hobbies, bubble tea! Rookies, renowned for its bubble tea and pancakes, will host a month-long activation from Monday 10 February to Sunday 9 March, celebrating the Totally Spies!franchise, with an exclusive menu and themed decor which leans into the nostalgia of the show. Customers will be offered exclusive goodies, be able to sample bubble teas inspired by the personalities of The Spies, and even indulge in a Totally Spies! pancake.

Discovery EMEA. Plus, a live-action adaptation is in development, produced by Banijay Kids & Family, in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios and Gloria Sanchez Productions.

    Procidis, part of Banijay Kids & Family, a global leader in children’s entertainment, behind hit shows such as Totally Spies! and Mr Bean: The Animated Series, announces an interactive installation at Paris’ Grévin, with Maestro, the hero of its animated educational series Once Upon a Time….

    The installation, in partnership with France Télévisions Okoo, is set within the world of Once Upon a Time…Life, with a recreation of the legendary cell control office from the series. Centred around Maestro, reimagined in statue form, the activation gives visitors an immersive and interactive experience, uncovering the history of the museum and the process behind creating its iconic wax statues. Sculptor Stéphane Barret is behind the custom-made creations of Maestro and his cunning, mischievous co-star Nabot, based on drawings by illustrator Jean Barbaud. The installation will be further supported in 2025 with an extensive out-of-home campaign in the Paris subway. Opening in 1882 on the Grands Boulevards, Paris, Grévin welcomes more than 900,000 visitors each year. Maestro and Nabot join other iconic animated characters at the museum including the Little Prince, Asterix and Obelix, Paw Patrol, Lady Bug and Cat Noir.

Discovery Italy’s Cartoonito was among the top 10 shows on the channel and ranked #1 top content on the Cartoonito app for Media Starts during the month of launch.

    In this charming animation, created by Eric Noto-Loubier and Cécile Sady, 11-year-old Froggie, who grew up in a huge city, is suddenly forced to live in a small town in the middle of the country. For a curious, confident and adventurous girl, Bigg City seemed like the perfect place to live, but she must learn to adjust to her new surroundings. If only she could get cell phone reception…

    Four seasons of the award-winning animation, which is inspired by the iconic Moomin stories by Tove Jansson, have been produced by Gutsy Animations in collaboration with Yle and Sky. Viaplay also boarded the latest season. Banijay Kids & Family Distribution, which represents worldwide distribution, including digital for all series, has sealed multiple broadcasting deals across several territories with Iceland’s RUV and Switzerland’s RTS for seasons 1-2; the Netherlands’ NPO, ABC (Australia) and Thailand’s PBS for seasons 1-3; and in France with TF1’s SVOD service TFOU Max for season 1.

    The hit series makes its anticipated return to screens later this year, with a seventh season airing on M6/Gulli (France), Discovery Kids LatAm, and across EMEA and the U.S. with Warner Bros. Discovery. License Connection will manage licensing deals across Benelux, Lotus Global Marketing will represent the brand in Brazil, and LIT Licensing Agency will cover the Nordics.

    First launching in the early 00s, Totally Spies! hooked a generation of fans with its iconic aesthetic and powerful female leads. The international licensing programmes will cater to both the existing adult audience and the 6-9-year-old target audience of the new series.

    The 25 x 22’ and 12 x 2’-shorts are centred around 12-year-olds, Shasha and Milo, as they juggle their everyday lives, alongside their secret roles as the Crescent Island Guardians. Combining action and comedy, our protagonists are tasked with protecting the island from villainous cats and their plots to gain ultimate power, whilst navigating their own ability to transform between human, cat, and a formidable hybrid form.

    Banijay Kids & Family today announces its distribution arm, Zodiak Kids & Family Distribution, will represent all four seasons of the animated family drama series, Moominvalley. Inspired by the much-loved Moomin stories by Tove Jansson, it is produced by Finnish production company Gutsy Animations in collaboration with YLE and Sky and, additionally, Viaplay for the fourth season.

    The Emmy®-nominated series brings the Moomins into 3D with a unique visual style combining high quality CGI and painterly effects. It is a whimsical, coming-of-age story of family and friendship, which explores humanity, relationships and emotions, as the Moomins work together to restore harmony to their titular home. The series also features a high-profile voice cast, including Rosamund Pike, Bel Powley, Warwick Davis, Matt Berry, Akiya Henry, Jennifer Saunders, Will Self, and Julian Barratt.

    The award-winning Finnish content creator Marika Makaroff is creative director of Moominvalley. The series director of the first two seasons is the Oscar®-winning Steve Box (The Curse of the Were-Rabbit). Season 3 is directed by the episode directors from previous seasons; Nigel Davies, Sara Barbas (Final Call), Darren Robbie (Doc McStuffins) and Jay Grace (Shaun the Sheep). Season 4 series director is Nigel Davis (Shaun the Sheep Movie). Season 1 is produced by the BAFTA®-winning producer John Woolley (Shaun the Sheep), Season 2 by Louise Holmes (Shaun of the Sheep) and Seasons 3 and 4 by Stephen Dorrance (Happy!). Head writers for the first three seasons are the Emmy®-winning writing duo Mark Huckerby and Nick Ostler (Peter Rabbit). Season 4 head writer is Diana Whitley (House of Anubis).

    The 3D animation is made at Anima Vitae – a Finnish animation studio located in Helsinki and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The score music is composed by the acclaimed percussionist Samuli Kosminen, multi-instrumentalist Jarmo Saari and violinist Pekka Kuusisto.

    Banijay Kids & Family, the global leader in children’s entertainment, behind hit shows such as Totally Spies! and Mr Bean: The Animated Series, today announces the launch of its first audiobooks following a strategic partnership with the leading digital publishing company, Bookwire GmbH.

    Hit spy-fi animation, Totally Spies!, paranormal detective series, Martin Mystery and pre-school comedy series, Mumfie, are available in French from today via all major listening platforms including Audible, Apple Books, Google, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music.

    Banijay Kids & Family and Bookwire worked closely with two studios on these projects: Lyon-based studio Blynd worked on the adaptations of Totally Spies! and Martin Mystery, while Kidsono created the Mumfie audio series.

    Totally Spies! is produced by Banijay Kids & Family label Zodiak Kids & Family France. Originally running from 2001 for six seasons, a new series has been confirmed and will launch from next year around the world with co-producers Gulli (France), and Discovery Kids LatAm. It will also air across EMEA and the U.S. with Warner Bros. Discovery.

    Mumfie is a preschool comedy series, based on Britt Allcroft’s Magic Adventures of Mumfie (creator of Thomas & Friends and the film Thomas & The Magic Railroad). It is produced by Zodiak Kids & Family France and Animoka, alongside France Télévisions and Rai (Italy).

    Martin Mystery, the worldwide smash hit, is based on the bestselling comic book by Alfredo Castelli. A dripping goo-fest of supernatural slime, thrills and comedy, the series as is distributed by Zodiak Kids & Family Distribution (part of Banijay Kids & Family).
