This exciting French version of hit format, Survivor, features 16 candidates split into two teams. They are set ashore on a desert island with no resources and for a period of 40 days, they must overcome a series of tests, at the end of which only one contestant will remain the sole survivor and pocket €100,000!

Survivor is the most successful entertainment programme in France and has attracted more viewers year-on-year since 2001. By 2009, the 7th season shot on Palau island in Micronesia averaged almost 8 million viewers!
