Blake joined Wonder as Head of Commercial Affairs in 2015 after the production of their first broadcast commission, Micky Flanagan Detour de France. Since then he has overseen the company’s commercial and legal affairs during a rapid period of growth and in April 2018 he was appointed Managing Director following the sale of the company to Banijay. Prior to working for Wonder, Blake was Head of Legal and Business Affairs at Maverick Television overseeing all of the company’s commercial activity between 2010 and 2015. Blake’s television career began at the broadcaster, Channel 4, after he moved to the UK from his native Australia following the completion of his legal training and after being admitted as a solicitor in 2003.
