Peaky Blinders

Peaky Blinders, is an award winning epic story of families, war, love, betrayal & revenge.  Set in the 1920s Birmingham, an era of gang warfare.

Britain in 1919 is a tumultuous mix of despair and hedonism, a nation cleaned out by the extravagances of the Great War. Returning soldiers, newly-minted revolutionaries and criminal gangs all fight for survival in an industrial landscape gripped by economic upheaval. Thomas Shelby and his family run the most feared and powerful local gang,

the Peaky Blinders. Named for their practice of sewing razor blades into the peaks of their caps, they make money from illegal betting, protection and the black market.

But Tommy’s ambitions go beyond running the streets, and the second Season sees the Shelby family expand their empire South and North while maintaining a stronghold in their Birmingham heartland. Season three sees the Shelby’s adventures move to new shores and in Season four Tommy receives a mysterious letter on Christmas Eve and realises that the Peaky Blinders are in danger of annihilation. As the enemy closes in, Tommy flees his country house and returns to the streets of Small Heath, Birmingham where a desperate fight for survival begins. In Season five the world has been thrown into turmoil by the Wall Street Crash of 1929. Opportunity and misfortune are everywhere. Tommy Shelby MP is approached by a charismatic politician with a bold vision for Britain. He soon realises that his response will affect not just his own family’s future but that of the nation.
