Four masked men break into the Anand family home and take the entire family hostage. The kidnappers demand that Dr Mira Anand, the family matriarch and a brilliant surgeon, kill the Chief Minister of Haryana, who is in her hospital for routine surgery. The operation is scheduled for the following day. If the Chief Minister does not die during the surgery, Dr Mira’s family will be killed.

The story depicts family complexities, revealing the relationships at play between the family members as well as the issues between the four kidnappers. The character development continues building to a crescendo when the lead kidnapper’s ultimate motive is discovered.
