Jacob is a dynamic, commercial, strategic and result-oriented CEO with career long success in leading media companies, across the Nordic as well as the international markets. Jacob has been with Nordisk Film TV since 2006, responsible for overall general management and building of the Company’s activities across the Nordic region. Jacob holds a Master of Law as well as an Executive MBA.
Johannes Jensen started his career in 1992, working as a freelancer at Strix Television. In 1997 he was one of the producers behind the first Survivor produced in the world, for Swedish national public TV, SVT. After leaving Strix in 1999 he started a production company together with two colleagues. They created and produced the first Swedish sportsgala Idrottsgalan in 2000. In 2001 he left the company to join Jarowskij as head of development. In 2005 Johannes became managing director for Jarowskij and four years later when Jarowskij had merged and became part of the international Zodiak media group, he was appointed as CEO of the Nordic division, which he held until February 2016. In September 2014 he took on the role as MD for Zodiak’s successful fiction company, Yellow Bird, a position he had together with his role at Banijay Zodiak Nordic. After the merger with Banijay Group Johannes is Deputy group CEO for Banijay Nordic and continues running Yellow Bird as MD.
Peter is a creative and innovative CCO with more than 20 years’ experience in TV production. Peter joined Nordisk Film TV in 2006 after working as MD for Mastiff Media Denmark and Public Broadcaster DR. For the past ten years Peter has been responsible for all content in the Nordic region – including drama, factual entertainment and reality. In the period 1996 – 2006 Peter was a well-known Danish TV host in quiz-, game and shiny floor shows including Dancing with the Stars and The Dating Game. Peter started his career as a stand-up comedian.
Mads took over as CEO in 2010 and immediately intensified Mastiff’s focus on creativity in own development and local adaption of group IP. Since then Mastiff has successfully grown to become one of the largest production companies in Denmark producing more than 200 hours of primetime programming a year. Prior to his appointment as CEO Mads worked as an executive producer and developer and has successfully launched big long-running entertainment and reality shows in the Danish market. Mads is part of the Banijay Group’s Nordic Management Board as Nordic Group Deputy CCO and also holds a position on the board of the National Danish Producers Association.
Karoline is Nordic Group COO for Banijay Nordic. She has almost 20 years of experience from both the Nordic and the Global TV industry within programme development & sales, acquisition, distribution and broadcasting. Main focus in Karoline’s current role within the Nordic Group is business development and strategic management. Karoline holds a Master Degree in International Business from the University of Southern Denmark and a Board Leadership and Corporate Governance Degree from Copenhagen Business School. Karoline has been with Banijay since 2007.
