Yulia Sumacheva

Managing Director WeiT Media

In 2009, Yulia Sumacheva, together with Timur Weinstein, founded WeiT Media.

Taking over the company in 2015 as Partner and Managing Director, Yulia Sumacheva has produced more than 500 projects in various genres for the major Russian TV channels. These include The Brain, Your Face Sounds Familiar, Everybody Dance!, Gold of Nation, The League of Extraordinary People, MasterChef.Junior, The New Star Factory, Series Ashes, The Prisoner of War; award-winning The Biggest Loser and feature films, Ailing Angel, Love with Challenges and many others.

Sumacheva started working within the media industry in 2005 at Lean-m as an adviser to the General Producer. In this role, she developed, produced, and purchased content, as well as collaborated with major studios: Warner Bros., Disney and Sony Pictures. Subsequently, she held positions at SonyPicturesTelevision International (SPTI), part of SonyPictures and became a partner of Lean-M.
