One of Australia’s leading production executives Rory Callaghan has been responsible for some of this country’s most celebrated and award award-winning titles including Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door, INXS: Never Tear Us Apart, Catching Milat and Brock.
Joining Screentime as CEO in 2015, the company has since produced dramas: Informer 3838, Pine Gap, Playing For Keeps, Underbelly: Chopper, the second series of Wolf Creek, the third series of Janet King and two seasons of The Secret Daughter.
He is also responsible for the immensely popular Anh’s Brush With Fame, Hughesy We Have A Problem, Undressed, Stop Laughing…This Is Serious and SAS Australia.
Previously Executive Director at Shine Australia, Rory commissioned shows including The Bachelor, Embarrassing Bodies Down Under, Aussie Pickers and SlideShow. Prior to that, he was CEO of Southern Star, where he oversaw productions including Offspring, Rush, Rescue, Spirited, Puberty Blues and Paper Giants. He consolidated the company’s non-scripted output with the continued success of Deal or No Deal, Beauty and the Geek and Undercover Boss.
Previously, Rory was Managing Director of Granada Productions, bringing Dancing With The Stars to Australia and developing formats including Australia’s Next Top Model and Australian Princess.
