Rab Christie

Rab Christie first got involved in comedy at Glasgow University when his comedy troupe, the Trio Brothers, won the So You Think You’re Funny Award at the Edinburgh Fringe. He joined the Comedy Unit script-editing and writing sketches for Chewin the Fat (BBC Scotland), going on to produce the show’s Hogmanay’s specials. He also worked as a Script Editor on ten series of the RTS Award-winning Offside (BBC Scotland) and produced four series of the Rose D’Or-nominated Karen Dunbar Show(BBC Scotland). He has worked as writer, producer or Executive Producer on Scottish BAFTA-winners; Dear Green Place(BBC Scotland), Blowout (Channel 4), Gary’s War (More 4), Rab C Nesbitt (BBC2) and Limmy’s Show! (BBC Scotland), plus the RTS Scotland-winner Scotland in A Day (C4). Other credits as writer, script editor, producer or executive producer include: Only an Excuse?
