Peter Newman has worked in the Australian, UK and US broadcast industries in both the independent production sector and for various television networks.

He has been with Endemol Shine Australia since 2012. Prior to taking on the role of CEO, he was Chief Content Officer, leading the development and execution of some of Australia’s most successful and exciting television formats. These include MasterChef Australia, Big Brother, Australian Survivor, LEGO Masters, Married at First Sight, Australian Ninja Warrior, Gogglebox Australia amongst many others.

Before leaving his native city of London for Sydney, Newman worked in the UK independent production sector and started his career at the BBC, where he worked for eight years.
