Hugues Dangy

Founder & President

Hugues Dangy has been a serial entrepreneur for over 15 years. He started his career as a journalist. In 2000, Hugues Dangy acquired the French website sports.com, a news website dedicated to sport. This was his first step towards the creation of Newsweb, a publishing group which specialised in the news format (sports.fr, football.fr, boursier.com, autonews.fr). Newsweb was sold in 2006 to the Lagardère Group. In 2004, Hugues Dangy co-founded Betclic, a leading French company specialising in online betting, sold to Lov Group in 2006. In 2008, he co-founded Moneyweb, a publishing company which specialised in online news brands and produced high value niche leads. The company was sold in 2015 to Next radio TV.

In 2012, Hugues Dangy and Banijay launched Non Stop People, the first celebrity-led news channel on Canalsat’s platform.
