Giannandrea Pecorelli

CEO

Giannandrea Pecorelli started his career during the 80s, producing full-length films, most of them first or second works. From 1990 to 1995, he worked as Head of RCS Film and TV Production and Co-production. In 1997, Pecorelli co-produced The Red Violin, which won numerous accolades including, in 2000, an Academy Award for Best Original Score.

Pecorelli has served in roles at Istituto Luce, RAI (the Italian national public broadcaster), as Fiction Department Head, as Endemol Italy as Production Manager and Sony Television Italy, as Head of Development.

In 2004, Pecorelli founded Aurora Film, where he has produced a number of successful series and feature films including Notte Prima degli Esami.
