Fazila Allana is a commerce graduate, with over 22 years of experience in the media industry. Coming from a theatre background, she was one of the early entrants into the Indian television market when it was privatised and went multi–broadcaster in 1993. Allana worked for a leading Indian production house called UTV from 1994-2002, where she held a number of different positions, including heading operations in their Malaysian office for five years. She finally left the business to start her own firm in 2003, Sol, which got converted into a private limited company in December 2007, after the merger with Zodiak Group.
