CBC Picks up Two Series from Banijay Rights

Banijay Rights, the leading distribution arm of Banijay Group, today announces that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), Canada’s national public broadcaster, has picked up two of its series, The Operatives and Saving Lives at Sea, for documentary Channel.   The deal, which was confirmed today at MIPTV in Cannes, will see AMO Media’s The Operatives, 10 x 60’, and Blast! Shipwrecked Sails into Germany

Banijay Productions Germany, a Banijay Group company, today confirms it is set to produce a local primetime version of Shipwrecked for RTL2 in Germany. Zodiak Kids Agrees Youku Package Deal

Banijay Group’s Zodiak Kids has secured a package deal for over 250 episodes of its content with Chinese Video-Streaming Service, Youku. Youku, which is a division of e-commerce giant Alibaba, has more than 500 million monthly active users, with 800 million daily video views.
