Wild Mercury was established in 2017 by Derek Wax, under Banijay Group, to develop and produce bold, irreverent, imaginative stories for UK and US broadcasters, in creative collaboration with the most original writers working in drama and comedy.

Wild Mercury are drawn to writers with strong authorial voices and to dramas that take creative risks, bringing exciting, unfamiliar worlds to audiences.

Productions include The Sixth Commandment for BBC One, The Rig Prime Video, along with Humans for Channel 4 and AMC and Troy: Fall Of a City, for BBC and Netflix, both in association with Kudos. Current projects include The Rig Series 2 for Prime Video.
