Based in Glasgow and founded in 1996, the multi award-winning Comedy Unit consistently delivers high rating scripted programmes to large audiences, while simultaneously developing new performing and writing talent. It is the largest comedy company in Scotland and annually achieves audience shares in excess of 50% of all viewers in its target market. The Comedy Unit has won at BAFTA Scotland six times, in addition to winning multiple RTS Scotland awards and receiving several Rose D’Or nominations.
