Led by Director, Stéphane Meunier and Producer, Bertrand Cohen, Terence Films is a Scripted production business focused on creating television, feature films and branded content for the French market.
Established in 2005, the critically-acclaimed business is behind over 225 hours of high-quality Scripted programming. To date, Terence Films has produced Les Innocents for TF1 and now Amazon Prime; award-winning Cut!, a co-production with Banijay Studios France and Adventure Line Productions for France O ; and multi award-winning Fortunes for Arte and France 2. Most recently, the company has launched production on OPJ, South Pacific (20×52’), a cop series for France Télévisions.
Co-founder Meunier began his television career in journalism for M6 and then CAPA press agency, and was responsible for key magazine shows: Reporters, Zone Interdite, Envoyé Spécial and 24 HEURES. From there, he produced and directed a number of documentaries including multi award-winning “Les Yeux dans les Bleus”. In 2004, he transitioned to Scripted, making Ma Terminale for M6, where he met Bertrand.
Bertrand co-founded Terence Films with Meunier in 2005 following a successful career within Scripted Television. He has previously operated in scripted roles across JLA Productions, Hamster and Studio Expand, having started in TF1’s marketing department. Cohen is also a writer on Scripted series: Summer Crush, Fortunes and Cut. In 2004, Bertrand was an Executive Producer on Ma Terminale for M6. It was here that he met Stéphane.
