In 2009, Cuarzo joined the Banijay Group and since then, the partnership has seen the business’ projects travel well beyond their borders and in turn has brought Spain hit shows from around the world.
An award-winning producer, Juan Ramón Gonzalo Carballal has worked for numerous channels and producers in Spain. From 2006 to 2010 he was Director of Las Mananas de Cuatro with Concha García Campoy; in 2011 he was Director of Supernanny and Director of Conexión Samanta. He led the Ana Rosa Programa on Telecinco up until 2014. During this time he became Assistant Director of News for La Sexta and was Director of the La Sexta Night Programme.
