    Banijay today confirms Anne Van Sprang will continue to lead its HR department as Chief Human Resources Officer. Based in Paris, she is the group’s global strategic departmental head, consulting on the company’s worldwide structure, operations and employee relations.

     

    Championing best practice, Van Sprang joined Banijay from Kering Group, where for two years, she was at the forefront of devising and implementing the business’ HR strategy, as well as overseeing the HR function for the Technology and Digital Division across its 13-territory footprint. Prior to this, she was Human Resources Director at Canal +, providing full HR support to the Technical and IT Division thus contributing to the digital transformation of the Group. She has also held roles at TDF Group and Carrefour.

     

    A leading HR partner, Van Sprang has spearheaded Banijay’s integration with Endemol Shine Group, supporting Chief Executive Officer, Marco Bassetti, and the global leadership team, in building a footprint comprising the world’s best creative entrepreneurs. Overseeing the department’s worldwide operations, she continues to collaborate with the footprint’s HR partners to combine teams and systems, and drive a joined-up, inclusive and responsible approach.

  2. Banijay Confirms Group Chief Financial Officer

    Banijay today announces Sophie Kurinckx has been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer for the newly scaled-up business, overseeing all financial activity across the 22-territory combined footprint and its portfolio of 120+ production entities.

     

    Kurinckx joined Banijay back in 2010 as Head of Group Financial Control before taking up her current role in 2012. Since joining, she has led on the financial strategy and operations, and supported on all M&A activity. Integral to the successful completion of the organisation’s recent refinancing drive, and the subsequent acquisition of Endemol Shine Group, she will now be charged with aiding the integration of the department across the business’ 22-territory-strong global footprint.

     

    Prior to Banijay, Kurinckx was at JCDecaux as Deputy Head of Group consolidation and Group IFRS specialist, having started her in career in 2000 as an auditor for KPMG. In her current role as Group CFO, Kurinckx will continue to report to Banijay’s Chief Executive Officer, Marco Bassetti.

     

    The appointment of Kurinckx ties in to Banijay’s efforts to merge the two businesses following the recent acquisition and subsequently triggers the departure of Ivan Nash Vila as Chief Financial Officer of Endemol Shine Group.

  3. Banijay Hires Group Corporate Business Affairs & France Business Development Director

    Banijay today announces the appointment of Edouard Minc as Group Corporate Business Affairs & France Business Development Director. Based in Paris, the newly devised role will see him take responsibility for all corporate business affairs matters related to the Group, as well as working with Banijay France on its business development strategy and activities.

     

    Edouard Minc joins the business from Lagardère Group, where he was Director of Prospective and Investments. First joining the business back in 2001 as Senior Researcher, he went on to hold a number of roles across the business’s portfolio of publications and was most recently responsible for supporting all divisions of the Group with innovation and transformation projects.

     

    Working between Banijay Group and Banijay France, Minc will report to both EVP Strategy, Marie Schweitzer, and Banijay France CEO, François de Brugada.

     

    Marie Schweitzer comments: “Edouard brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Banijay Group and we all agree he will be a fantastic addition to the team. As we continue to grow the business and evolve our strategy, there is no doubt his expertise will prove invaluable.”
