    : Monello Productions, part of global leader in children’s entertainment, Banijay Kids & Family, today announces the development of original animation, Pikky & Rhino. The series, created by Cécile Sady and Ahmed Guerrouache, with Giorgio Welter and Cécile Sady as Producers, will be pitched at this year’s Cartoon Forum (12:30 Wednesday 17 September – Blue Room).

    With a blend of cartoon humour and rich visual storytelling, Pikky & Rhino explores themes of loyalty, interdependence, and friendship, through the lens of two unlikely companions living on the savannah. Pikky & Rhino centres on the exclusive bond between Pikky, an energic little bird, and Rhino, his gentle best friend. From his perch on Rhino’s back, Pikky keeps his buddy clean and tidy, while Rhino offers Pikky safety, snacks, and steadfast companionship. Their relationship is symbiotic, but more importantly, it’s deeply emotional, built on trust and devotion. The series introduces a playful tension as other animals on the plains grow envious of Pikky’s talents and the duo’s seamless setup. Each episode sees the pair navigating these challenges, reinforcing the value of true friendship in the face of temptation and rivalry.

    Banijay Kids & Family, a global leader in children’s entertainment, behind hit shows such as Totally Spies! and Mr Bean: The Animated Series, today announces the return of beloved animated series Street Football for a thrilling Season 5. 20 years since the show first launched, the new season premieres 22 August on the Okoo platform, and 27 August on France 4 (France Télévisions). The return is powered by a cross-platform campaign spanning music, live fan experiences, and a new publishing venture.  

    To mark the launch, Street Football is teaming up with legendary French rapper Akhenaton, who produced the original theme tune, for an exclusive music single, launching 29 August. This summer, Street Football also hit the road as part of the Okoo Summer Tour, bringing live experiences and games to cities across France. The campaign continues into autumn with the debut of a dedicated magazine with Reworld Media. 

    Street Football has been broadcast in 28 territories. Season 4 doubled the audience record for Okoo and was the best launch for an animated series on the platform. The new 26 x 22’ series, produced by Monello Productions, with Zodiak Kids & Family France and MoBo, follows our heroes’ team, the Blues, who must face 19 other teams in the Street Football World Cup.

    Banijay Kids & Family, a global leader in children’s entertainment, behind hit shows such as Totally Spies!and Mr Bean: The Animated Series, today announces Gulli (M6 GROUP) and RTVE have picked up new animated series Froggie, co-produced by Monello Productions (part of Banijay Kids & Family) and Pikkukala.

    In this charming animation, created by Eric Noto-Loubier and Cécile Sady, 11-year-old Froggie, who grew up in a huge city, is suddenly forced to live in a small town in the middle of the country. For a curious, confident and adventurous girl, Bigg City seemed like the perfect place to live, but she must learn to adjust to her new surroundings. If only she could get cell phone reception…

    Cécile Sady, COO Monello Productions says: “There’s a universality to the themes of friendship, finding your identity and dealing with change, and we’ve combined these with some brilliant humour, which we hope will entertain young audiences around the world. I’m incredibly passionate about this project and am delighted both RTVE and Gulli, the first kids channel in France, have committed to the series.”

    The 52 x 11’30 series, aimed at a 6+ audience, was recently crowned Best TV Pilot in the Pulcinella Awards at this year’s Cartoons on the Bay. It will air in France on M6’s Gulli and in Spain on RTVE’s Clan. Banijay Kids & Family Distribution represents worldwide distribution for Froggie.
