    Content powerhouse, Banijay Entertainment, today announces the landmark return of Fear Factor to Danish television. Metronome, part of Banijay Nordic, leads the comeback, producing for TV 2 and TV 2 Echo, marking a significant revival for the franchise.

    The first Danish edition since 2002, hosted by comedian Ruben Søltoft, adds a fresh comedic twist, with Søltoft hilariously afraid of absolutely everything. The games remain true to the Fear Factor legacy with extreme heights and stomach-turning stunts. Filmed in an abandoned slaughterhouse, contestants are pushed to confront their phobias, while unexpected tasks and ironic setups bring laughter into the mix.

    The comeback coincides with a bold reimagining from the US, where EndemolShine North America will launch Fear Factor: House of Fear on FOX. With Johnny Knoxville at the helm, contestants face jaw-dropping stunts and a harrowing game of social strategy, where trust is fleeting and fear itself becomes a weapon. Fear Factor: House of Fear will also broadcast on CTV in Canada in a deal agreed by Banijay Rights, while a new adaptation in Quebec – Fear Factor Célébrités – launches on Crave TV in French-Canada next spring.

    Content powerhouse, Banijay Entertainment, today announces B&B Endemol Shine, part of Banijay Germany, will adapt dating experiment format, Alone Together for Swiss broadcaster SRF. The commission marks the first international adaptation of the hit-Danish title.

    Originally created by Metronome, Alone Together launched in 2020 with three successful seasons airing on TV2’s streaming platform. It swiftly became the highest-rated show on the platform, with the second season doubling its viewership. The series offers an authentic, slow-paced dating experience for singles seeking long-term relationships. Amid the challenges of online dating, this experiment offers a unique opportunity for contestants to genuinely connect through shared activities designed to foster communication and trust. Guided by psychologists, couples will spend time on a remote island, free from the distractions of everyday life, to see if they can form real connections and possibly pursue lasting relationships.
