Michael O’Mara Books is to publish the first official tie-in book for primetime drama Rogue Heroes, featuring an introduction by writer, creator and producer Steven Knight, as well as interviews with the cast and crew (including Jack O’Connell, Connor Swindells and Sofia Boutella) and over 100 official photographs from the series.

Editorial Director Nicki Crossley acquired World English Language rights from Banijay Rights, the global distribution of media and entertainment group, Banijay Entertainment, on behalf of Kudos (A Banijay UK company). Rogues Heroes has garnered massive critical acclaim since first airing in 2022, and to date the series has reached over 9 million viewers in the UK, where it airs as SAS Rogue Heroes on the BBC.

Now, this full-colour celebration charts the adrenaline-fuelled origins of the fearless Special Forces unit, sharing the unbelievable story of the SAS Originals alongside insider access from the cast and crew. In particular, Steven Knight’s foreword unpicks the thinking behind the characters, and the themes and spirit of defiance that underpin the show.

The book draws you in to a world of hardened military advisers, stunning costume design and hair-raising stunts, offering unparalleled access to the award-winning show. Readers are offered a rare seat behind the scenes to understand the thoughtful decision-making that occurs at every step of making a hit TV show, and what really goes into capturing the spirit of the SAS.
