Baniday, our annual global volunteering day, is back. Once again, Banijay Entertainment teams are stepping away from their desks and into their local communities, dedicating their time to support charities, non-profits and initiatives.

So far this year, colleagues in Benelux, France, India and Brazil have taken part, with more territories set to join before the end of the year. Here’s a look at some of the inspiring activities already underway:

• Benelux: Teams spent the day making meaningful connections across two community projects, Erik Scherder Huis and Woonzorgcentrum Eben-Haëzer.
• France: Teams supported a range of local organisations, helping to reduce food waste, create greener spaces, empower young people and assist people with visual impairments.
• Brazil: The Endemol Shine Brasil team rolled up their sleeves alongside volunteers and students from UNAS’ Projeto Periferia Constrói initiative to help revitalise a community space that provides daily support to around 300 children and teenagers.
• India: Colleagues spent the day with underprivileged children, organising a fun-filled programme of activities.
