Netflix has announced Simon Says, a new reality competition series from Bunim/Murray Productions, part of Banijay Americas, set to launch in 2027.

We all know Simon from the OG playground game, but Simon has grown up and he’s done playing nice. In this wickedly clever reality competition, players compete in a series of cunning games with only one rule: Do exactly what Simon Says. Obedience buys you time. Defiance comes at a cost.

The series joins Netflix’s growing slate of unscripted competition programming, including The Golden Ticket, Squid Game: The Challenge, Million Dollar Secret, Is It Cake? and Win The Mall.

Simon Says is produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, part of Banijay Americas. Emer Harkin serves as show runner, with Bunim/ Murray’s Julie Pizzi, Rupert Dobson and Gayani Wanigaratne as executive producers.
