Tomorrow, June 11, the globally acclaimed immersive light and music experience LUMINISCENCE opens its doors at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul in the heart of Philadelphia.

From LOTCHI, a Banijay Live company, part of Banijay Entertainment, LUMINISCENCE transforms one of America’s most architecturally distinguished spaces through 360-degree video-mapped light projections, live choir, and the LUMINISCENCE Orchestra — taking audiences on a breathtaking journey through the history of Philadelphia’s most iconic landmarks.

After captivating nearly two million guests around the world, LUMINISCENCE continues its tour and settles in the heart of Philadelphia for a series of exceptional dates in the iconic Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul. For the first time, audiences can experience a show where history, video mapping, and music come together to reveal this jewel of Philadelphia’s heritage as it has never seen it before. At the center of America 250, LUMINISCENCE will offer a valuable piece of history that many in Philly have never heard.

LUMINISCENCE has staged these immersive productions across the world’s most beautiful cathedrals, churches and historic landmarks in eight countries, including France, Spain, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Brazil, and in Minneapolis in the US.

With 20+ productions across major cities, including twelve productions currently live, the experience has established a strong presence in the premium live sector, with extended runs, returning engagements and sustained audience demand, all delivered via Banijay Live’s LOTCHI, and Banijay Entertainment’s production labels, bringing a scalable, collaborative production framework across markets.

Tickets are now on sale for performances through August. Shows include options with Luminiscence Live Plus (live choir and orchestra), Luminiscence Live (live choir only), or Luminiscence (recorded music and voiceover). Ticket prices vary, and discounts are available. A portion of the proceeds from the Philadelphia run will support the ongoing preservation and restoration of the Cathedral Basilica.
