Screentime Australia Secures Double Commission With Channel 10

30 May, 2019

Screentime Australia, a Banijay Group company, today confirms Channel 10 has picked up two of its formats – Sydney’s Crazy Rich Asians and My 80-Year-Old Flatmate.  Showcased during Pilot Week, new titles form part of Channel Ten’s push to create content that generates conversation and appeals to the domestic audience.

Sydney’s Crazy Rich Asians is set to take audiences into a life of money, shopping, cars, events and glamour. Following six very ‘extra’ characters, the reality series will expose their navigation of life without a budget.

In My 80-Year-Old Flatmate, cameras will follow elderly Australians offering cheaper rents to hard-up millennials in exchange for company and help around the house. Bringing together these two generations, the series highlights that despite generational differences, relationships can be formed, and both can learn from one another.

Rory Callaghan, CEO, Screentime Australia comments: “Channel 10 serves as the perfect partner for Sydney’s Crazy Rich Asians and My 80-Year-Old Flatmate. Both shows combine entertainment with insight and are guaranteed to have audiences hooked.”
