Banijay Group appoints Lionel Abbo as Global Head of Digital

Banijay has appointed Lionel Abbo as Global Head of Digital for Banijay Group and Banijay France, it was announced today by Marco Bassetti, CEO.

In this position, Lionel will lead and coordinate the company’s digital business across the Banijay Group and for Banijay France. Based in Paris, Lionel will report to Marco Bassetti for the Group and François de Brugada for France.

Lionel joins Banijay Group from Shine France where he has been Deputy Managing Director Creation Developpement 360˚ since 2009. Lionel started his career as a producer for MTV Networks before joining the development team at Endemol France, where he worked on Endemol’s Brand Content for Bouygues Telecom and LG. Following Endemol he was Head of Content at Tribal DDB Paris, where he sold and managed content and digital communication operations for the company’s main clients including Lipton, Nike, Bouygues and French Navy.
