Banijay Group, the leading creator, producer and distributor of worldwide content, has today announced the launch of Fearless Minds, the second scripted production company to be added to the UK division of Banijay this year. The addition marks the groups continued momentum in the genre and follows the launch of BlackLight TV in the spring.
A joint venture with Managing Director Jolyon Symonds, Fearless Minds will develop and produce memorable, distinctive, original stories for the UK and the international market, working with writers and directors to support their vision and creativity.
Symonds has previously produced award-winning drama and feature films including the Thorne series with David Morrissey for Sky One, the Bafta-winning drama Complicit written by Guy Hibbert for Channel 4, the box office hit Kevin and Perry Go Large and Danny Brocklehurst’s The Driver for BBC One. Symonds previously ran On The Corner Entertainment (with producer James Gay Rees, actor David Morrissey and director Asif Kapadia) where company credits included the Oscar and Bafta-winning film Amy.
Symonds is working with some of the most exciting names in British drama, including a raft of up and coming British talent.
