Banijay Group, the world’s largest independent content creation Group for television and multimedia platforms, has acquired the French fast-growing digital company Shauna Events.
Over the next year, Banijay Group plans to expand its digital capabilities significantly. This acquisition is part of a wider strategy to break into new business areas, closely linked to the Group’s core TV production activities.
Created and led by Magali Berdah, Shauna Events creates original content for social media networks as well as specialising in forging collaborative partnerships between brands and digital influencers, especially reality TV talent. The partnership allows for a product or brand to be seamlessly integrated into the day-to-day life of the influencer, thereby reaching their global fan base through their social media activities.
