Banijay was created in January 2008, by a team of experienced professionals lead by Stéphane Courbit and powerful private investors : the Agnelli family (Fiat), the De Agostini family, Jean-Paul Bize (AMS Industries) and Bernard Arnault (LVMH).

Our goal is to build through acquisitions of key local producers a worldwide leading brand in the production of creative television and digital entertainment content.

All Banijay companies have a great creative track record and established relationships with all the networks, Cable, DTT and Pay TV channels. Banijay is also involved in the production and distribution of online, ad-funded and branded entertainment content.

Banijay is active today in Spain (Cuarzo Producciones), Germany (Brainpool), the USA (Angel City Factory and Bunim Murray Productions), Denmark (Nordisk Film TV Denmark), Norway (Nordisk Film TV Norway), Sweden (Nordisk Film TV Sweden), Finland (Solar Television) and in France through two French production companies (Air Productions, Banijay Productions France).
